Executive Summary

Advanced Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF). HydroMX is an industrial-grade Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF) powered by proprietary Nano-Thermo® technology, which evenly suspends nanoparticles in a glycol-based solution to enhance heat transfer speed and efficiency in closed-loop hydronic systems. It features corrosion and scaling inhibitors, anti-bacterial agents, and is non-toxic and NSF-certified safe for humans and animals.

In addition to Chillers & Boilers, other applications include Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) projects, lithium battery cooling (vehicles and industrial), and gas or diesel engine cooling systems. HydroMX guarantees a minimum of 20% energy savings, can earn carbon and LEED v4 credits, and complies with FDA CFR 21 and ASTM standards (D2688, D1500, D1287, D6378). It is ISO Certified (9001, 14001, 21930) and Nano Fluids are approved for CO2 decarbonization by NYC Local Law 97.

Warranty

HydroMX Inc (“HydroMX”) warrants that the HydroMX Products, whether sold directly or through a reseller or distributor, when installed in accordance with HydroMX Guidelines, and when utilized in normal and contemplated uses in accordance with HydroMX’s Guidelines, will be free of defects and fit for the purpose intended for a period of 20 years from the date of manufacture

HydroMX is an industrial Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF) utilizing Nano-Thermo® technology. This proprietary technology evenly suspends nanoparticles in a glycol-based solution, which increases the speed and efficiency of heat transfer in closed-loop industrial hydronic systems.

Nanoparticles in HydroMX improve thermal conductivity and heat transfer, making heating and cooling processes more efficient. This reduces energy consumption and costs, allows faster temperature regulation, and minimizes energy waste for optimal system performance.

HydroMX enhances heat transfer throughout the fluid, improving thermal conduction to the heat exchanger wall. This increased efficiency allows HVAC systems to use less energy, reducing power costs and cutting carbon emissions compared to systems using water or water/glycol blends.

Independent NSF-sponsored reviews, including a Life Cycle Analysis and Environmental Product Declaration, show that HydroMX offers over 26% greater benefits than water and up to 36% compared to propylene glycol-based HTFs. These reports confirm significant carbon emissions reductions, meeting various government codes and mandates.

HydroMX has over 15 years of proven energy savings. First installed in 2008 at a NATO airbase, it achieved 35% energy savings with a two-year ROI. In India, over 100 installations reported 20-35% energy savings in various applications. In the U.S., a 2015 installation at HBO’s server rooms delivered 27% energy savings and 90% more free-cooling hours, achieving a one-year ROI. Hydromx is certified nontoxic by FDA regulations. Both Hydromx’s ethylene and propylene versions carry the highest available safety rating from NSF for toxicity.
